The Georgia District Team is very pleased to announce that in 2022 we will be hosting our 4th Annual "Come Ride With Us" Riding Rally. If you missed our fabulous 2019, 2020, and/or 2021 events, here is your chance to join in and have FUN at this GREAT event. This is a RIDING EVENT and there will (again) be several guided rides that you can participate in! For 2022, our dates will be September 15-17, at the fantastic River Vista Resort and Campground in Dillard, GA. Our very successful and popular "Chili Cook-Off" will occur on Friday evening. Plus, for 2022, the District will provide a GOURMET hamburger meal (with all the fixings) on Saturday evening. Come Ride With Us will also feature our District Couple of the Year selection, MAP Awards and more!!! With inflation impacting almost every part of our lives... our Pre-Registration price is STILL $10 per person. Yes, just $10! We hope you will send in your registration today!

Come RIDE With Us!!!
It is almost tome for the Georgia District "4th Annual Come Ride With Us" Riding Rally. As GWRRA is closing it doors, this will be the final event in Georgia as GWRRA. What lies in store for the future is anyone's guess. But, we hope you will join us for our last "Big Hoorah" as GWRRA. As we did in our last three events, we will be featuring GUIDED RIDES through the surrounding area of Dillard, Georgia. Those who have participated over the previous events will confirm that is an event you should't miss. In addition to the rides, we are certain to have a BANG-UP good time.

Anyone wanting to ride any of our featured rides on there own is certainly welcome to do so. That said, the routes, which were designed for Garmin GPSs and are available for download below page, may track slightly differently based on the settings within your GPS.

The Maps are in a compressed ZIP format (necessary to download). Click on the links below to download the compressed file and store in your desired location. After downloading, right click on the ZIP file and select EXTRACT HERE. Once extracted, the actual route... which will have a gpx extention. These routes should work with any Garmin GPS that uses gpx file formats, including ZUMO, NUVI and others... as well as built-in GPSs of 2018 (and newer) Goldwings! (Routes also work on 2012-2017 Goldwings with built-in GPSs. Also included will be two PDF files (a Map and Turn by Turn Directions)

If you have any questions... or if you have difficulty downloading or installing the routes, don't hesitate to contact Carlos Lozano (contact information is on our Team Page).

If you plan on riding, please show up ontime with gas tanks full and bladders empty!
One last note: This year it has been more difficult than ever to find assistance in leading rides. As such, not all available routes may be guided. That said, know that each day, at a very minimum, at least one guided ride will be available!

2021 Fri AD Ride:This route is a completely new route for 2022. The stop on this ride will be at Brasstown Bald (the highest point in Georgia). Additionally, this will be a Brown Bag Ride, with a basic sandwich and chips lunch being provided by the ride leader (water will also be included). Anyone with specific dietary requirements should plan to pack their own lunch. The stop will be of sufficient duration to allow those wanting to hike or shuttle to the top to be able to do so. If you haven't visited this location, it really is a MUST do.
Additionally, there is a fee ($3 or $5) per vehicle to access this area. However, if you are a senior and are in possession of a National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass (Senior Pass, formerly refered to as a Golden Eagle Pass), admission is free. If you want to take the shuttle to the top, a ticket is available for a nominal fee ($2 or $3).

2022 Sat pm Ride: The individual planning and leading this route has not yet provided me with route information. When (if) I recieve the particulars, I will get the information and route posted.

2022 Sat AD Ride: This is also a completely new route for 2022. Actually, there are two versions of the route; a slightly longer 120 mile route (the planned guided version) and a shorter 99 mile version. I like to refer to this ride as the Highway 28 Ride (Reminds me of the Zac Brown Band song - Highway 20 Ride). Both options are available for download below: The Guided version will include a Brown Bag Lunch Stop!
